Salloq Software – Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes prohibited and restricted uses of the Salloq Software ecommerce and point-of-sale platform and related services (collectively, the “Service”). This AUP is part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Terms.


1. General Principles

You may use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and in a manner that does not cause harm to Salloq, our infrastructure, or any third party.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to store, display, sell, advertise, or distribute content, products, or services that:

  • Are illegal, deceptive, or fraudulent;
  • Infringe or misappropriate intellectual property or proprietary rights;
  • Violate privacy, publicity, or data protection rights;
  • Promote hate, harassment, or violence against individuals or groups;
  • Are obscene, exploitative, or sexually explicit involving minors;
  • Promote human trafficking or exploitation;
  • Constitute unlawful gambling or betting (where restricted);
  • Involve counterfeit or unauthorized goods;
  • Violate export or sanctions laws.

3. Restricted Products & Services

Certain categories may be restricted or require additional review, including but not limited to:

  • Firearms, weapons, and related accessories;
  • Regulated pharmaceuticals, controlled substances, and certain supplements;
  • Tobacco, vaping products, and related paraphernalia;
  • Adult content and services;
  • Financial services (e.g., high-risk lending, crypto exchanges);
  • Products making unsubstantiated medical or health claims.

Salloq reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether your products or services are permissible.

If you are unsure if your products and/or services fall within Salloq Software's Restricted Products category, please contact us at support@salloq.com prior to creating an account and we will discuss your particular situation and make a determination.

4. Security & Technical Abuse

You may not:

  • Access or attempt to access the Service or related systems without authorization;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
  • Upload malware, viruses, worms, or other malicious code;
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools that overload or abuse the Service;
  • Attempt to bypass security features, rate limits, or access controls.

5. Email, SMS, and Communication Practices

When using the Service to send emails, SMS, or notifications, you must:

  • Comply with anti-spam laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, local laws);
  • Obtain necessary consent before sending marketing communications;
  • Include valid identification and contact details in messages where required;
  • Provide clear unsubscribe or opt-out mechanisms;
  • Not use the Service to send fraudulent, misleading, or harmful messages.

6. Customer Data & Privacy

If you process personal data of your customers through the Service, you must:

  • Comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws;
  • Provide a clear and accurate privacy notice to your customers;
  • Implement appropriate security and access controls;
  • Not misuse personal data obtained through the Service.

7. Enforcement & Violations

Salloq may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may:

  • Remove or disable access to content;
  • Limit, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service;
  • Report unlawful activities to law enforcement or regulators;
  • Take legal action where appropriate.

We may update this AUP from time to time. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
